So far in the olympics right on this day, the canadians from what I see didn't receive very many medals. Who won the most medals? Russia has won the most medals, leading with 33 medals in all. Favourite event is still the snowboarding thingy
The canadians are doing fabulous! At the moment, I don't have a huge canadian athlete that inspires me right now :D. The country that won the most medals was Russia, with 33 medals. Favourite event was the snowboarding flips and tricks. Because I think it super duper supreme! You have to do super
Personally, I don't like sport, but I'm very glad that Canada did the best they could and they got first place in a lot of sports which is pretty amazing and awesomeness!!!! Canada was in 3rd place which is sooooooooooooooooooo FABULOUS and can't believe they got in the top 3! So thats great and I'm super duper proud of them!
Top stories today are CAN v.s USA in hockey.
The canadians are doing very well, they are in 5th place out of all the countries. With 6 gold medals.
Right now, I don't have a athlete that inspires me at the moment. Norway has won the most medal such as 10 in gold so they are in the lead. My favourite event is the freestyle skiing because I think doing flips in the air and making sure to land properly is pretty awesomeness. You can do flips and spins in the air, but you have to land properly or else you can get really hurt and they could take away points. There is nothing much I learned today.
Todays Top stories are Mens hockey quarter finals CAN vs LAT.
The canadians are doing pretty good right now, they are in 8th place in medal wise, but at least its better then being very last. I still believe that Justin Dolley is a good idol in olympic wise cause I still think even though he made a mistake when doing skiing tricks, he didn't give up. Norway is winning the most medals, they are in lead with 20 medals in all but in gold, they are at 9 gold medals. My favourite events a still figure skating cause I still think that took the most effort to practice and had to risk a lot chances. The event works with practice, practice and practice some more. Also takes lots of risks and chances. One thing i learned was that you have to take chances when doing sports.
Top stories today are Germany is in the lead because they have the most gold medals.
The canadians are in lead right now in Mens Skiing! Justin Dorey, I picked him because he fell down when he was doing a trick in the air while skiing but he inspired me cause he didn't give up and when he made a mistake. So he inspired me cause he tried to not get his mistake to bother him. Germany at this moment has the most medals and is in the lead. My favourite event is the freestyle figure skating with pairs because I love how graceful it is and how much effort they put in their performances. The event works on how much momentum you have when skating, I takes a lot of effort and practice and there has to usually be some sort of story in the performance. I learned about how much momentum it takes to do tricks in the air!
What are today’s big stories?
Danny Morris to collect silver medals at the ceremony.
How are the Canadians do?
We are leading in Luge, Figure skating and snowboarding.
Choose 1 Canadian athlete who performed. Why did you pick this athlete? How do they inspire you?
Kelly Clark, because she is very good at what she does, inspired me to keep going and do what I love.
What countries won medals? Who won the most?
My favorite event was figure skating because I think it’s a very graceful sport and take a lot of risks and chances, I my favorite also cause not very many people do it.
How does this event work?
You can either go into pairs or by yourself (depends which one your playing) You have to do various difficult moves and do a certain performance with music that represents your country. You have to do all of the moves with messing up.
One thing I learned today was?
I couldn’t find anything I learned today.
Hockey was todays top story,
They are playing hockey for todays olympics.
My favorite event was figure skating because I like how graceful it was.
You have to do performance with a partner or by yourself. And have to do backwards and flips on the ice and skate around with balance and be graceful. Canada has two medal on day 4 of Sochi/Russia. That really well done to canada. Canada is leading in freestyle figure skating! WOO HOO! Norway, Germany and SIO are also with 2 medals as well.
